Another Snow Day

It dumped snow last night even enough to close down my office. We are "working" from home but took a little sledding break.

Gymboree

I signed Kallie up for a few Gymboree Play and Music classes in Bellevue. The first class was a bit overwhelming for Kallie but by the second class she was ready to go. She had so much fun throwing balls, singing songs, playing with the parachute and getting chased by daddy.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

The snow finally arrived on Saturday. I kept looking out the window waiting for the "big storm" the news was talking about. It was snowing everywhere BUT Issaquah until later in the afternoon. We were so excited to get Kallie all dressed up in her purple snow bibs and pink boots to try out our new pink sled. Well, Kallie was not a fan of the bibs and the boots didn't fit but that didn't stop us from heading outside to enjoy the snow.

Happy 17 Months Baby Girl

Kallie-
Today you turn 17 months (33inches & 23.8oz) and I could not be more proud of the little girl you are becoming. You are such a happy, giggly yet feisty little girl. This month you have been a busy bee! Some of your new words are bubble, ball, ba-bye and your new favorite no (as you shake your head). You also still love making animal sounds the newest being meow.

You are becoming more independent playing with your toys, puzzles and rolling your pink car all around the house. One of your favorite activities is spinning in circles until you fall down and then you do it all over again laughing the entire time.

Kallie, you are the light of my life and I am so lucky to have you as my daughter. I love you always and forever!

XOXOXO
Mommy

Fun with Friends

Kallie loves playing with her friends, especially her buddy Cooper. We had a fun playdate on Saturday night with Cooper and Charley. Of course Kallie and Coop always wanted to play with the same toy even though there were so many to choose from. We also had a fun dance party!

My how my Saturday nights have changed, at least I don't have a hangover :)

Happy New Years 2012

The last year has been the best year of my life. I feel so lucky to have a wonderful husband and the best daughter anyone could ask for. I have loved watching our little girl grow and discover something new every day. Kallie is the light of my life and I am so thankful God chose me to be her mom.

The past year and a half has been quite the whirlwind. Kallie B was born, Eric started a new job, I started a new job, we sold our house in W. Seattle and moved into our new house in Issaquah. It was just this that it hit me, so much had changed in such a short period of time. It is now time to relax and enjoy the adventures that 2012 has to offer.

My wish for 2012 is health, unconditional love and happiness for my friends and family. I also have a special wish for Georgia - may she continue to heel and leave cancer in the rear view mirror! Kallie and I say a special prayer for Georgia each night and I can't wait for the day that little girls can finally play together. I have no doubt these two will get into plenty of trouble in the years to come!

Here are a few pictures from the long new years weekend.
