Pumpkin Party

Last weekend we went to the Wilson's house for a little Halloween fun. Kallie was so excited to go to a Halloween party and even more excited to wear her Super Girl costume. All of the kiddos had a great time carving pumpkins. Kallie was not so sure about taking the "guts" out so she decided to take every pumpkin seed out one by one! She chose triangle eyes, a triangle nose and a smiley face . . . that is literally the face I carved every year which made me smile.

Fox Hollow Farms Pumpkin Patch 2013

This morning we decided to take a trip to Fox Hollow Farms to pick out the perfect pumpkin. When I told Kallie about our adventure she was literally jumping up and down on our bed yelling "Pumpkin Patch Pumpkin Patch Yeah Yeah". I think it is fair to say she was just a little bit excited. We started at the playhouses and made our way to the barn to look at all of the animals (miniature horses, bunnies, kittens, horses, goats, chickens and even peacocks) followed by a pony ride and lots of jumping in the pumpkin bouncy house and then and only then it was time to hunt for the perfect pumpkin. Kallie let me know a few of the pumpkins were perfect size because she could hug them (HA). After 5-10 minutes of wandering through the patch she finally found the perfect pumpkin, success!
