The other weekend we decided to do a mini photo shoot of our little girl . . . and of course Coho joined in. Here are a few I just had to share.

Woohoo . . . She has teeth!
Kallie has been teething for a few weeks now. Literally everything goes in her mouth right now. Last night she was even trying to put Coho's favorite purple toy we call "purple guy" in her mouth . . . GROSS! Last night she was holding my finger and decided to take a chomp and this time it hurt because her teeth finally popped through (two bottom center teeth). I promise to post a picture soon . . . I just have to convince Kallie to let me!

Just being silly
Last night Kallie was quite the ham. She had Eric and I cracking up as she wiggled and giggled on our bed. Of course I grabbed the video camera . . .
Happy 7 Months Kallie B
Today Kallie turned 7 months old. The last month has been so much fun. Kallie has perfected sitting up all by herself. She continues to try new foods and has decided she is a veggie girl not a fruit girl . . . peas and avocados are her favorite so far. She continues to be such a happy smiley little girl. I love listening to her giggle . . . sometimes we are both giggling so hard we can't stop. Kallie continues to amaze me every day. I can't believe she is seven months already although I feel like she has been in my life forever!! Happy 7 months baby girl, I love you more than you will ever know!

Family Time
Since going back to work two and a half weeks ago I have already come to realize how important family time is going to be on weekends. During the week we are busy from the moment the alarm goes off at 6am until we put Kallie to bed close to 8pm. I get up extra early during the work week so I can get ready and have time to spend with Kallie each morning before Alexandra arrives. We have morning snuggles, we eat and then we play all before I head out the door at 7:45. I still struggle evey day leaving my little girl but it is that special time we have in the mornings that helps me get through the day.
This weekend we decided to take a family outing to Lincoln Park. It was a beautiful day and I was so excited to show Kallie the swings. I wasn't sure if she would like them but you can see by the pictures below she LOVED IT!! My hope is to do something as a family every weekend. We don't have to go somewhere but I want to make sure we take a step back, slow down and enjoy the moment. This is such a special time in our lives and I want enjoy every minute of it.

Jumparoo!
Kallie has been having a great time this week at her buddy Cy's house. Cy has a great toy called a jumparoo and Kallie LOVES IT! Here is a cute video her nanny Alexandra sent me today . . . this is just what I needed to bring a smile to my face at the end of my second week of work!
