Kallie loves to talk . . . just like her mom. We make cooing noises back and forth for hours. Her new trick is blowing buggles (she is so advanced). Here is a cute video of Kallie and her daddy just talking away :)

Let it snow!
Mimi and Papa meet Kallie
On Friday Mimi and Papa (my in-laws) flew into town from Florida for a visit. Eric and I were so excited to show off our baby girl and Coho of course. It was such a fun weekend having them at our house. Mimi got lots of Kallie time and was a baby whisperer when she was crabby :) Coho had Papa wrapped around his little paw after about five minutes. He was even out in the snow playing with Coho this morning.
My parents came over on Sunday for brunch so they could visit with Eric's parents too. They have met before but it was during our wedding chaos so it was really nice to have more time to chat.
I am sure I will have more pictures to share by the end of the week but here are a few from the last few days...

Look at me grow
Yesterday was my last PEPS group meeting. At first I was not sure how I would like PEPS but I am so glad I did it. I have met so many great girls from my neighborhood that I will continue to be friends with. Have PEPS each week was a blessing it forced me to get out of the house and talk to adults. Each meeting was different but it was so refreshing to know that we all have ups and downs as new parents and that is OK!
I am also amazed at how much our little ones have grown. Most of the babies in my PEPS group are 3 or 4 months old. They are all starting to have their own personalities which is so fun to watch. Here is the picture from our first meeting and then the one from our last. . .suck big kiddos now :) I love how they are in pairs holding one another up so they don't tip over!

Kallie is 3 months old
I can't believe Kallie is 3 months old today!!! Time has gone by way too fast. Kallie has been such a blessing in our lives and I can't even start to explain the love we have for her. I learn more about her every day . . . so far I know that my little girl loves to smile when she is supposed to be eating, she always smiles when daddy comes home from work, cooing on her changing table, kisses from her dog Coho, sleeping in her swing, rattles & the animals on her bouncy seat, going on walks in the front pack, laying on her soft lamb, bath time, and of course snuggles from mom and dad.
Eric and I feel so lucky every day for the family we have. We are looking forward to watching our little girl grow . . . Kallie Bear we love you!

Our Squirmy Worm!
Kallie has become quite the squirmy worm over the last few weeks. The harness she has been wearing makes it a bit harder for her but luckily she gets to take it off for one hour each day. Eric and I try to make that hour really count by letting her wiggle like a wiggly worm! Here is a video I took today . . .

Kallie's First Halloween
Kallie had a busy 1st Halloween this year. We started the morning walking in a 5K race to support Leukemia and our friend Georgia. Team Georgia consisted of 40-50 family and friends of the Handsakers. We all wore purple (that is Georgia's favorite color) and pinned a cute picture of Georgia on our shirts. It was for a great cause and we can't wait for our friend Georgia to be healthy and back home in West Seattle.
In the afternoon we went to Kelly and Martin's house to celebrate Kallie and Cooper's first Halloween. Since Kallie has her harness on her puppy costume would not fit . . .not to worry though . . . we had a cute onsie with a tutu on it and added a pink bow so Kallie could be a ballerina :) According to my friend Leslie the puppy costume made Kallie look like a boy so I am sure she will be happy to see the pictures below of our girlie ballerina!!

HALLOWEEN FUN
I'M FREE - Kallie can have her harness off for one hour a day so she kicked around with her friend Coop!
